Where to put your fingers on the violin - for beginners.

You can click on the fingering positions above to hear the correct note. Slide your finger up or down slowly until it matches the note you here. The left hand is used to press down on the strings. Cradle the neck of the violin between your thumb and index finger, using the thumb to support the weight of the violin.
